Take me back to when love sounded like salient word, causing my heart beat to race, that atmosphere which shone with radiant colors and smelt like love.

Take me back to that moment when love allowed our souls to bloom with roses, that soft sweetness, which tasted like love.

Have forgotten what it felt like to be in love, have lost that touch of love, have missed the way it made me feel.

Take me back to when we found love, that intoxicating sensation, which went through my blood stream leaving only love bites.

Take me back to that time, when love use to be love.

Kahlil Gibran on Love

Kahlil Gibran on Love

When love beckons to you, follow him,

Though his ways are hard and steep.
And when his wings enfold you yield to him,
Though the sword hidden among his pinions may wound you.
And when he speaks to you believe in him,
Though his voice may shatter your dreams
as the north wind lays waste the garden.

For even as love crowns you so shall he crucify you. Even as he is for your growth so is he for your pruning.
Even as he ascends to your height and caresses your tenderest branches that quiver in the sun,
So shall he descend to your roots and shake them in their clinging to the earth.

Like sheaves of corn he gathers you unto himself.
He threshes you to make you naked.
He sifts you to free you from your husks.
He grinds you to whiteness.
He kneads you until you are pliant;
And then he assigns you to his sacred fire, that you may become sacred bread for God’s sacred feast.

All these things shall love do unto you that you may know the secrets of your heart, and in that knowledge become a fragment of Life’s heart.

But if in your fear you would seek only love’s peace and love’s pleasure,

Then it is better for you that you cover your nakedness and pass out of love’s threshing-floor,
Into the seasonless world where you shall laugh, but not all of your laughter, and weep, but not all of your tears.
Love gives naught but itself and takes naught but from itself.
Love possesses not nor would it be possessed;
For love is sufficient unto love.

When you love you should not say, “God is in my heart,” but rather, “I am in the heart of God.”
And think not you can direct the course of love, for love, if it finds you worthy, directs your course.

Love has no other desire but to fulfill itself.
But if you love and must needs have desires, let these be your desires:
To melt and be like a running brook that sings its melody to the night.
To know the pain of too much tenderness.
To be wounded by your own understanding of love;
And to bleed willingly and joyfully.
To wake at dawn with a winged heart and give thanks for another day of loving;
To rest at the noon hour and meditate love’s ecstasy;
To return home at eventide with gratitude;
And then to sleep with a prayer for the beloved in your heart and a song of praise upon your lips.

Love showed up at the mall,
Many fled from what they saw,
A zombie love had become,
Like one, survived a great fall,

Truly, love had caught a grenade,
And jumped in front of a train,
Love had become contorted,
Losing form and Beauty.

The charming looks had been a myth,
For love was born to suffer as well as to enjoy,
The scars of love are badges to its words,
True love will not be found without wounds and scars.

So Sayo, when you walk out today,
And decide to try again,
Remember that your love will not be,
fancy wear, dressed, fancy cut, sporting, nor fancy shoes rocking,
Looking like from a bathroom, he just came.
No.
Your love will look like a Zombie,
Like a zombie that stepped on a grenade.

A child is born, one filled with life, tears of a mother unfolds, pains of time settles as she holds her baby, encompassing him with love. Passion indefinite invokes.

Sounds of scent of joy rises up into the heavens, as it moves under the bellows, thunders quake, the heavens are shaken.

God laughs from his throne saying; OH YES! A CHILD IS BORN. OH YES, my creation has come to life. Hear me, from this day henceforth, the Armageddon for this child’s soul begins and as such, must be attained. Thus faith must be stirred down without prejudice.

Love Beat

Love Beat

Life moves as time flows, birds chirp under the bellows, true success grows as the wings of birds explodes.

Love is in the air, feeling us, leading us, feeding us, as we grow. It’s as though we’re kept under the window, beauty beyond horizon, mirage in confusion.

Eyes as bright as a flying hawk, soaring the deep blue skies, arms so warm and tender, it smoothens the heart.

Though we be apart, we’re one, though we be fighting, we’re one, though the world be against us, we’re one, though we age and infuscate, we’re one.

Lily

Lily

She is nicely dressed in a beautiful long red gown, her skin so perfect, glowing and toned white, her hair, so soft and milky which is neatly packed with a little ringlet at the front and a pepper red on her lips. When she sits, her long legs came out, neatly crossed, flawless and radiant, she’s stunning and cannot be compared to anyone, he says, as he gazed at her.

She noticed the bizarre stare at the corner of the hall, she went on to meet the dashing young man, he introduced himself as William which kept her speechless. William walked her outside, both standing at the balcony of the hall, staring at the sky, talking about the party which is still going on. They both talked and talked, changing from topic to topic, laughing and drinking.

Time passed, as it was already midnight, the ball was already over, he decided to walk the young miss home, as a gentleman would, who just caught the sight of an angel. As the city slept, it became quiet and the air so cold, both breathing out like a smoking gun, they walked and walked, still laughing and talking, they were three blocks away from the young miss home, they finally stopped at the side of a building. He held her hands asking where her home is, she told him to take things slow, for her home isn’t far. William didn’t mind, he told her, how beautiful she is, but the young miss warned him saying “please don’t love, don’t come close to me, my love is intoxicating and I don’t want you to get hurt”. William stares at her with a big smile on his face “who would not love to have an angel like you in their lives, don’t worry, I can handle it” he says. He tries to kiss her, she pushed him away, telling him to stop but at that time, it seems William had been consumed with madness. He became rough, his grip, so tight, his lips pressed to her neck, so passionately, he kissed her, he wants her everything, “what a beauty you’re” William says as he continued…

As the night fades away slowly, William began to fade with the night, his skin began to remove from his body as if they were forcefully pulled out, his eye balls came out and his eye sockets became clear, his hair began to dry off, the young miss noticed all of these and tried to stop him but William refused, he kept on, so recklessly, as her beauty engulfed him bit by bit. The final process is yet to come, my William, if you don’t stop now, there won’t be anything left of you, you’re going to fade away, please stop, I beg of you, stop”, she yelled at the disfigured William, who is now almost nothing, still he didn’t stop.

As he continues, his rib cage began to show, they were dry, his inside seemed to be boiling, some parts already turning to dust, he shrinked and his body began smoking, he became a skeletal figure, all the flesh remaining melted away into the air. There was little or no life left in William, he looked like a walking corpse, his eyes still have little life in them, they were filled with terror. She held the remaining part of him, both were on the floor, she began to cry, filled with pains, trying to bring William back, he raised up his skinny arm, already dried, remaining only a thin structure, he wiped off her tears and said “what a beauty you’re, so lovely in your red dress, please don’t cry, you’re going to ruin your make up”, he kept on talking, as she tries to stop him, “what’s your name” he says, smiling but that’s all he could whisper before he joined the night.

The young miss stood up, crying, removing the dust and remains of William from her dress, “you should have waited but you were so reckless and impatient ” she says, still dusting her dress with tears in her eyes, “Lily, lily, lily is my name”, she says.

As at that period, it was only her on the lonely, cold street, William is no more.

You

You

Your words moved like a wave into my heart,

You poured your love on me, your love is coated with sweetener , I enjoyed the taste of it,

You made me crave for more of you, I begged for more like a child,

You gave me a kind of feeling that can never be found anywhere,

You took my heart, coated it in your sweetener,

you set me ablaze.
